Hostert (Schwalmtal)

Hostert is a residential area in the municipality of Schwalmtal , district of Viersen . He came together with Waldniel 2.5 km to the west as part of the incorporation into Schwalmtal in 1970. It is on the road from Schwalmtal to Gladbach . The federal highway 52 borders to the south . In terms of language geography, Hostert means Hofstatt . The complex of the St. Josef Children's Home, which was built in 1909, belongs to the site . After several changes of use, it has been empty for many years.
