Hotel Grande San Calogero

The Hotel Grande San Calogero is a building on Monte San Calogero (Monte Kronio) near Sciacca in western Sicily . Construction of the 300-room hotel began in 1954. The hotel never opened, despite many announcements. In 1993 it was found that it was not connected to the sewer system.
