Išpanzašepa

Išpanzašepa is the Hittite goddess of the night .

The name Išpanzašepa means "genius of the night" (from Hittite išpant- = night and šepa- = genius). As the name suggests, Išpanzašepa is the deified personification of the night. Under the name Išpant, this deity is one of those deities who were worshiped by the singer of Kaneš / Neša in Nesian = Hittite language. At the KI.LAM festival , Išpanzašepa was sacrificed together with the stove.
