IMatch (Engl. Match Image Management ) is a software for image management for Windows . Images can be imported and sorted into categories. The first version of IMatch was released in 1998.

IMatch manages over 100 file formats. Raw data formats are read via WIC ( Windows Imaging Component ) codecs or routines implemented in IMatch. IMatch supports all relevant metadata formats, such as: IPTC , Exif , GPS , XMP , PDF , ID3 . Most formats can be read as well as written. It implements the requirements of the Metadata Working Group and the IPTC Committee. This guarantees a smooth exchange of metadata with other applications and services.

With its range of functions and the ability to manage archives with several hundred thousand images on both local and removable storage media, the program is aimed primarily at demanding amateur photographers, professionals and users in companies, research and authorities.

IMatch has built-in versioning and can stack files. Changes to metadata or keywords can be automatically applied to all versions of a file.

The software also offers a similarity search to make it easier to find duplicates, can be expanded with its own script language and can be used by the licensed user on any number of computers.

A large number of import and export modules can be used to import and export images and data. Powerful batch processing and web publishing are also integrated.
