Ignazio Paternò

Ignazio Paternò (* 1980 ) is an Italian manager. He is the CEO of Lidl .

Paternò has been with Lidl-Italia since 2004. In 2015, at the age of 35, Paternò succeeded Daniel Marasch, who took over the chairmanship of Lidl Germany, as President of LidlItalia. Prior to his appointment as President, he worked as Head of Purchasing.

In 2018 he moved to the head office in Neckarsulm as deputy head of purchasing. He has been Lidl's CEO since August 2019 .
