Ilse Groos (* first half of the 20th century ) was a German golfer .

Career

Groos was one of the top female national golfers. As a member of the Golf und Land-Club Köln e. V. she was initially the winner of the internal club championships (in 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954 and 1957).

She also competed successfully in national and international championships. In 1950 she became German golf champion. In 1951 she competed for Germany at the international amateur championships in women's golf and won the gold medal.

For this purpose, Federal President Theodor Heuss awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf on December 11, 1951 .
