Im Flieger über ... (French: Par avion ) is a French documentary series that has been broadcast on Arte since April 15, 2013 . In each episode, the pilot and reporter Vincent Nguyen discovers a region of Europe from a bird's eye view. He flies with local pilots and meets with locals to discover the area's attractions.

The first 15 episodes of the series describe regions of different European countries (Iceland, Germany, Italy, Belgium ...). In the following episodes, Vincent Nguyen follows in the footsteps of airmail pilots and makes a trip from Toulouse to Morocco along the south coast of the Iberian Peninsula.

Part One - Regions of Europe (Volume 1–15)

Foreign journalist and photo reporter, but also a passionate pilot, Vincent Nguyen presents the beauty of a different region of Europe from the air in each episode. He is accompanied by a local pilot who not only explains historical and cultural features of the region to him after landing, but also introduces him to interesting residents.

Part two - airmail (episode 16-25)

At the end of his European expedition, Vincent Nguyen follows in the footsteps of the heroes of the airmail , this time at the controls of his own aircraft, a yellow Piper Super Cub . Vincent takes off from Toulouse, the birthplace of the legendary epic of the aviation pioneers, and flies to the burning desert in southern Morocco.
