The Emperor of the South (Polish: Dąb Imperator Południa , Dąb Prof. Janusza Falińskiego ) is a mighty virgin oak in the Białowieża Primeval Forest in Poland , it is located in Sector 579 of the forest area.

The tree, which is evenly embedded in the ground on each side, has a trunk circumference of 610 cm at a height of 130 cm above the base of the trunk. The oak reaches a height of 40 m. The tree is vital and shows no signs of death.
