Information officer

An information officer ( IB ) in a pharmaceutical company is responsible for providing scientific information about the drugs offered by the company .

The information officer must have the necessary specialist knowledge for the performance of his task, e.g. B. through a university degree in human medicine, human biology, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, biology or chemistry and at least two years of professional experience.

The legal basis for this in Germany is Section 74a of the Medicines Act .
