Interlining

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In air traffic, interlining refers to the cooperation between two airlines . The other airline's flight tickets are accepted through a bilateral agreement . This enables the participating airlines to market their own flights as well as the partner's flights. On the one hand, this enables the two airlines to expand their services to include the destinations of the other airline and, on the other hand, for passengers to have additional connecting connections. In contrast to code sharing , however, all flights are operated under the airline code of the actual airline.
