Conseil International de l'Arbitrage en matière de Sport

The Conseil International de l'Arbitrage en matière de Sport (CIAS, French ) or International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS, English ) is a Swiss foundation and sponsor of the International Sports Court .

The foundation, established in 1984, is responsible for the administration and financing of the arbitral tribunal as well as for the appointment and dismissal of TAS / CAS arbitrators. The CIAS / ICAS Presidium consists of twenty lawyers , ten of whom work as officials in sports associations.
