International Teacher Identity Card
International Teacher Identity Card - ITIC , the International Teacher Identity Card , is a document that enables you to receive discounts when traveling abroad.
Release
It is published by the ISIC Association , a non-profit organization . The ISIC Association is one of eight sub-associations of the World Youth & Student Educational Travel Confederation ( WYSETC ), founded in 2006 , which also issues the International Student ID ISIC and the International Youth Travel Card IYTC . The ITIC advertises discounts and perks in over 130 countries. However, the portfolio of discounts is not as extensive as the ISIC international student ID card .
Acquisition
The ITIC can be acquired by full-time teachers and professors. A certificate of employment serves as proof. The card costs 15 euros in Germany (as of March 2019) and is valid for one year. The card is usually issued by issuers of the international student ID card.
