Interpellation (procedural law)

In Switzerland, an interpellation refers to an objection against default judgments or enforcement orders in a civil procedure law . The term is also understood to be a "parliamentary initiative, i.e. an instrument of action by the parliamentarians of the Swiss Federal Assembly in order to obtain information from the Federal Council on federal affairs".
