Isopublic (ISOPUBLIC AG) is the oldest Swiss market and opinion research institute . It is a family business. Clients are companies from a wide variety of industries, advertising and PR agencies, media, interest groups and public bodies.

The institute was founded in Lausanne in 1943 as the first Swiss market and opinion research institute with the designation "ISOP" by Pierre Devrient - a friend of George Gallup . In 1969, Robert Kappeler took over the management of the institute, and his son Matthias Kappeler (CEO until spring 2014) has been working for the company, which is now in Schwerzenbach , Canton Zurich, since 1992 .

In December 2011 ISOPUBLIC joined the Canadian group Léger Marketing , the largest market and opinion research institute in Canadian ownership, which is also active in the USA under the name TRIG (The Research Intelligence Group).

Since 1949 Isopublic has been the Swiss member of the Gallup International Association , the largest international group of market and opinion research institutes, and is also a founding member of the WIN Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research.

The institute is politically independent. In addition to traditional qualitative and quantitative methods, ISOPUBLIC has been focusing heavily on the development and management of ISOweb since 2011, i. H. Online research.

On May 7, 2015, the Uster District Court opened the bankruptcy of the company.
