Target stock

Target stock is a term from materials management .

The target stock results from the actual stock plus the orders that have been contractually requested but not yet received. Conversely, the available target stock results from the target stock minus materials ( reservations ) that have already been reserved for certain purposes, i.e. those that have been put back .
