The Jewish Museum Rhodes ( Greek Εβραϊκό Μουσείο Ρόδου Evraiko Mousio Rodou ) is a small museum in the city ​​of Rhodes that documents the local history of Judaism . The focus is on life before the Holocaust and its consequences for the community, as well as the emigration of Jews from Rhodes to the Congo .

The museum was first opened in 1977 in an extension of the Kahal Shalom Synagogue built in 1577 on Polydorou Street. In 2006 it was completely renovated and has since been looked after by the Israelite Community of Rhodes. The custodian is an Auschwitz survivor.

The exhibits include theological books written in Ladino and an exit document issued by the Turkish Sultan Mehmet Reshat, according to which Isaac Nessim Ben Veniste was allowed to leave the Ottoman Empire with his family .
