The Sinfonia di caccia or Hunting Symphony is a three-movement symphony by Leopold Mozart .

The hunting symphony originated in the 1850s. It has come down to us in two manuscripts. The title page of the Viennese manuscript bears the heading: Die Jagd Sinfonie / 4 Violini / 4 Corni ex D / 2 Corni ex G / 2 Violi / a Kugelbichse / et / Basso / del Sig. Mozart Leopold . The Augsburg manuscript is called Sinfonia di Caccia | à | 2 violini | Viola | 4 Corni obligatory | et | Basso | A: Sig: Leopoldo Mozart .

The sentence names:

  • Allegro
