The Jahnstadion Rheine is a multi-purpose stadium in Rheine in northern Münsterland . It has been the venue for the home games of the Rheine Raptors football team since June 2009. Until the club was dissolved in summer 2016, the footballers of the FFC Heike Rheine played their home games in the Jahnstadion. The FFC Heike played in the Bundesliga from 2000 to 2007 .
The stadium has a capacity of 4,999 visitors, 1,329 of which are seats, 649 of which are covered. The Jahnstadion is a multi-purpose stadium, the central grass pitch is surrounded by a tartan track . The ancillary facilities have facilities for athletics competitions , e.g. B. sand pits and an artificial turf pitch.
Two games of the German women's national soccer team were played in the Jahn Stadium.
