Jan-Hendrik Brincker (born March 24, 1972 in Lübeck ) is a German entrepreneur and local politician.

Brincker grew up in Bad Schwartau . After graduating from high school in 1991 at the Mühlenberg high school in Bad Schwartau, Brincker completed an apprenticeship as a banker at Deutsche Bank Lübeck AG. Handelsbank, which he ended in the summer of 1993. Since 1992 he has founded various trading and service companies within the Harms & Steder Group, of which he is managing partner.

Political career

Brincker became a member of the CDU district association in the Hanseatic city of Rostock in 2008 and moved into the local citizenship and thus into the CDU parliamentary group as a directly elected candidate in the 2009 local elections. He was re-elected in the 2014 local elections. He is considered a representative of the liberal-conservative economic wing within the CDU. Since 2017 he has been a member of the parliamentary group's executive committee as deputy group chairman.

Outside employment

Brincker has been chairman of the supervisory board of Stadtentsorgungs Rostock GmbH and a member of the supervisory board of WIRO Wohnen in Rostock GmbH, the largest municipal housing company in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , since 2009 .

Honorary positions

Since 2009 Brinckerhoff is a commercial judge at the district court of Rostock worked since 2015 as a working judge at the Labor Court Rostock . Since 2010 he has been a member of the board of the annual cost of merchants to Rostock e. V., of which he is the oil man in the 2016/2017 period.

In November 2012 Brincker became a member of the supervisory board of the soccer club FC Hansa Rostock . He led the association from December 2012 to March 2013 as chairman of the board after the previous leadership had surprisingly declared their resignation. After internal controversies about a financial transaction by the association, he resigned from the committee in March 2015.
