Jiufeng earthquake station
The Jiufeng earthquake station (Jiufeng dizhentai 鹫峰 地震 台 or Beijing Xishan Jiufeng dizhentai 北京 西山 鹫峰 地震 台) is a 1930 in the Beijing West Mountains (Xi Shan 西山) by the seismologist Li Shanbang (李善邦) and the geophysicist Qin Xinling (秦 馨 菱) built earthquake station . It was the first modern Chinese earthquake station. The building is located in the south of Xiufeng Temple (Xiufeng si 秀峰 im) in Jiufeng State Forest Park (Jiufeng guojia senlin gongyuan 鹫峰 国家 森林 公园).
