With an area of more than 3,000 square meters for amusement and relaxation, the thermal bath in the spa center is one of the leading spas in Northern Germany.

location

The thermal bath is located in the center of the spa center of Bad Bevensen , surrounded by the spa park in the Ilmenau floodplains , at a height of 36 m above sea level. The city itself is located in Lower Saxony, north of the Hanseatic city of Uelzen and thus in the east of the Lüneburg Heath .

history

After a thermal spring was found about three kilometers outside of what was then the city in 1964, while searching for oil, the city fathers of Bevensens decided to initiate the construction of a spa. The first foundation stones were laid in 1968, after which the construction of the spa center began in the same year. In 1975 Bevensen was officially recognized as a mineral spa, whereupon on May 12, 1976 the name was changed to "Bad" Bevensen.

Bathing area

The bathing landscape of the Therme Bad Bevensen is characterized by the warm and light colors and the floor-to-ceiling windows by the large vitality pool with 35 ° C and 3% brine. There is also a slightly smaller health pool with 35 ° C, but with 4% brine. In the Spa and Vital Center there is also a relaxation bath with 33 ° C and a brine content of 5%, which is accompanied by underwater music. The thermal bath offers the largest thermal outdoor water area in northern Germany with a total area of 925 square meters, divided into two pools. All pools are equipped with various floor bubblers, cascading showers and bubble seating niches.

Sauna area

The sauna landscape of the iodine-brine thermal bath Bad Bevensen offers around ten different saunas, including two steam rooms, a herbal sauna and two block saunas in the green outdoor area. In addition to the sauna area, there is also a salt and brine world on offer. The salt world includes a salt lounge with a chimney corner and a salt sauna, in which not only classic infusions take place, but also the "rain infusion". This creates a fanned cast, which is similar to a rain shower. The brine world is characterized by the 180 square meter area on stilts. On this there is a sun terrace and a brine experience room, from where you have a sweeping view over the spa gardens.

Spa offer

Massages and baths for relaxation are offered, which range from singing bowl massages, Rasul healing earth baths and light bubble baths "Hydroxeur". In addition, there are relaxation rooms and a cardio fitness room in the thermal baths.
