Joe E. Tata , actually Joseph Evan Tata (born September 13, 1936 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor .

Life

Tata began his acting career in 1960, which mainly focused on television. He appeared in guest roles in numerous television series, including Cobra, Take Over You and Time Tunnel in the 1960s, Detective Rockford in the 1970s and The Streets of San Francisco, and in the 1980s in Simon & Simon and The A-team . He also starred in several films produced for television, including Kill Me If You Can about the Chessman case , in a film about Lou Gehrig and a remake of the film The Valley of the Puppets .

In 1990 he was cast for the role of Nat Bussichio in Beverly Hills, 90210 . Until 2000 he played the former Hollywood actor and current operator of the 1950s in 238 episodes - Diners Peach Pit ; initially as a recurring guest role, from the fifth season as a member of the regular cast. After the end of the series he had a guest appearance in the series Charmed, produced by Aaron Spelling in 90210 like Beverly Hills, 90210 , but was then no longer present in film and television for several years. In 2008 he appeared again as a guest in three episodes of the follow-up series 90210 in his role as Nat Bussichio .
