Johann Georg Steingrubler
Johann Georg Steingrübler , also Steingriebler , was an Eichstätt cathedral music director .
Steingrübler was born as the son of the organist and schoolmaster Johann Jakob Steingrübler. He entered the clergy, became cathedral vicar in Eichstätt and was Kapellmeister at Eichstätt cathedral from 1698 to 1720 . His successor was Johann Adam Bleibinhaus from Gredingen . He wrote numerous works.
