The Jordan University of Science and Technology ( Arabic جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الأردنية, Jordan University of Science and Technology , abbreviated JUST) is a state university in Jordan . It is located in Ar Ramtha, a suburb of Irbid in northern Jordan.
JUST was founded on September 1, 1986 as an offshoot of Yarmuk University , whereby a new university was built from five faculties of Yarmuk University (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, health and nursing and engineering). Additional faculties were added later.
