The Jovis (proper spelling JOVIS ) Publisher is a publishing house established in 1995, Architecture in Berlin . He has been part of De Gruyter since 2019 .
history
Jochen Visscher founded in 1995 in Berlin, after it named Architecture Publisher Jovis ( acronym for Jo chen Vis shear). In cooperation with international partners, institutions from culture and business as well as well-known planners and theorists, the publisher publishes around 60 titles a year.
In 2019 De Gruyter bought the publisher from the publisher and founder Visscher.
Publishing program
Jovis Verlag publishes titles in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning, as well as contemporary art, photography and design.
