The Köttlachsiedlung is part of the market town of Purgstall an der Erlauf in Lower Austria .

The settlement is located west of the Pöchlarn – Kienberg-Gaming railway line and north of the Feichsen . It was created in the 1950s and has been expanded several times. Together with the Prater settlement , the area west of the railway line is also known as "Purgstall-West". The Köttlachsiedlung consists of numerous single-family houses in several residential streets that are accessed from Feichsenstraße. At the Römerring – Eisenring intersection there is a chapel shrine, which was built in 1993 by the Heigl family as a souvenir of their deceased daughter Anna-Maria.
