Cable stacker

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The cable stacker , also known as wire stacker or stacker , is a device that picks up cables processed on the cutting and stripping machine and then places them straight on a table where they are ready for further processing. There are cable stackers in a wide variety of lengths from 500 mm to 12000 mm.

A distinction is made between active and passive stacking. With active stacking, the cable stacker has a conveyor belt that pulls the cable out of the processing machine. With passive stacking, the cable stacker has a guide channel into which the cable is pushed by the processing machine. Active cable stackers are particularly advantageous when stacking long and rather soft cables.
