Caliber 44 was a popular Polish hip-hop band.

It was founded in 1994 in Katowice by Piotr Łuszcz ("Magik"), Marcin Marten ("Dab") and Michał Marten ("Joka"). The band name didn't refer directly to the gun caliber , but to the size of the problems they had. The name is also an allusion to the text of the drama Dziady by Adam Mickiewicz .
