Cape Spartel
Cape Spartel (رأس سبارتيل Ras Sbartil ) is a promontory in Morocco at 300 meters above sea level at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar . It is the most northwestern point of Africa .
The square lighthouse was put into operation in 1864. As an identifier, it flashes white every 20 seconds. Its range is about 30 nautical miles.
