Under Kappazismus (from the Greek kappa ) is meant a phonation disorder of the sound / k /. In this case, the sound is not formed correctly ( dyslalia ) or is completely replaced by another, (speech) historically older sound ( paralalia ), for example / t /. If the / k / sound is the only sound affected, its incorrect pronunciation can be accepted up to around five years of age. If there are other disorders of sound formation at the same time, therapy should start accordingly earlier.
