Medium-term bond

A medium-term note is a publicly issued bonds medium term. The public authorities and credit institutions act as issuers ; the maximum term is four years in Germany, five years in Austria and ten years in Switzerland.

The state issued Medium-term notes are in Germany as a federal savings bonds and in Austria as treasury bills , respectively.
