Dustpan

Plastic dustpan

A dustpan or a dustpan (regional: dustpan , cutter blade , shovel , garbage shovel , manure blade ) is a device for receiving the Unrates after the sweeping.

A dustpan is a shovel-shaped metal or plastic device with a short handle. In order to avoid the annoying stooping or crouching when picking up the rubbish on the sheet metal, dustpans can also have long handles. At the front, a rubber strip can make the transition between the swept floor and dustpan more flexible and thus make sweeping more effective.

After the rubbish , i.e. the dirt particles of a finer and coarser nature, has been swept up with a broom , they are swept onto the dustpan and then transported to the garbage can , where they are tipped and possibly also swept away.
