Keith Prentice
Keith Prentice (born February 21, 1940 in Dayton , Ohio , † September 27, 1992 in Kettering , Ohio) was an American actor .
Life
Prentice trained as an actor at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City from the age of 18 . He mainly worked in various roles in the Broadway theaters operate: Sail Away , The Sound of Music , Paint Your Wagon and The King and I . In the US film Die Harten und die Zarten he played the role of the gay Larry, which he had previously played on stage. With William Friedkin , the director of Die Harten und die Zarten , he worked again in 1980 on the gay thriller Cruising , where he played the small role of Joey. On television, Prentice starred in the hit series Dark Shadows in the recurring role of Morgan Collins .
In 1982, Prentice founded the Kettering Theater Under The Stars in his home state of Ohio , where he worked as a director and actor for the next decade until his death in 1992. He died of AIDS at the age of 52 .
