Core working hours
As usual hours or simply core time is defined as the period in which the employees generally compulsory attendance at work there. It is agreed between the company and the employee in flexible working hours in order to ensure that all employees are present at the same time. The duration of the core working time is shorter than the agreed daily working time . The compulsory attendance may be required in individual cases, e.g. B. can be extended by instructions from a supervisor by working times. These times are not included in the core working time and do not constitute a form of shift work, even if, for example, weekly responsibilities for covering off-peak times outside of core working hours are assigned within a department. Additional working hours that go beyond core working hours, for example in authorities with opening times and public traffic, are necessary.
The core working hours are usually defined in the employment contract or in general employment conditions. For example, it can be set to the period from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
