Key user

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term key user is used in the course of software implementation (e.g. ERP systems ) or in IT support. The key user himself is an employee of the company who introduces the software and, if necessary, takes care of it afterwards.

The key user is the user who specializes in the software or corresponding software modules used in his area. A key user supports the expansion and the depth of integration and represents the technical interests of the department in the project team . It also acts as a contact for colleagues in their own department, the software vendor and the project manager . A key user can independently conduct required training courses for his colleagues.
