Kibana is a browser-based open source analysis platform based on the Elasticsearch search engine . It enables the search and visualization of the data contained in Elasticsearch indexes.

Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash and Beats make up the Elastic Stack, a collection of open source software for analyzing log files and large data sets.
