Clarinet quartet

A clarinet quartet is a chamber music ensemble of four musicians, in which one or more clarinets play the main voices . “Clarinet Quartet” can also be the name of a work by this line-up.

Besides formations from solo clarinet with string trio or piano and two strings especially the pure clarinet Instrumentation recently popular: two clarinets, a basset horn and bass clarinet form the modern clarinet quartet, for many, more recently new compositions and arrangements have emerged.
