Nasu Monastery
Nasu Monastery ( Japanese 那 須 ト ラ ピ ス ト 修道院 , Nasu Torapisuto [= Trappist] Shūdōin ) has been a Japanese monastery of the Trappist women in Nasu , diocese of Saitama , since 1954 .
history
Nasu Monastery was founded in 1954 by Nishinomiya Monastery (then Jurenji) and elevated to an abbey in 1956 .
