As Regional Minister of the Volta Region and a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kofi Dzamesi is a leading politician in Ghana . Dzamesi succeeded his predecessor Kwasi Owusu-Yeboah in 2005 as a result of a government reshuffle in the second term of President John Agyekum Kufuor .
