Comets - planetoids - meteors

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The journal Kometen - Planetoiden - Meteore ( KPM for short ) was founded by Jost Jahn, Michael Möller and Hartwig Lüthen on the occasion of the Halley comet in 1985 , as there was no separate journal on these three astronomical object types on the German-speaking market.

It was published three times a year on average.

In 1997 the magazine was discontinued due to a lack of interest with the advent of the Internet. Since then Hartwig Lüthen has published articles on similar topics and with a similar frequency in the publication Sternkieker of the Society for Folk Astronomy .
