Konrad Wolf (organ builder)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Konrad Wolf (before 1426 - after 1428) from Waldshut was a German organ builder in Freiburg in the Üechtland .

Shortly before 1426 Konrad Wolf from Waldshut made a design on parchment for the first organ of the St. Nikolaus Cathedral in Freiburg im Üechtland. The organ was built in 1428 and is no longer preserved. Due to the tight time frame, the activity also in Freiburg im Üechtland and the common first name Konrad, some authors assume that Konrad Wolf was identical to the organ builder Konrad Belius. Further works or reports on the work of Konrad Wolf are not known.
