Conservatory for Turkish Music Berlin
The Berlin Conservatory for Turkish Music is a private teaching institution for Turkish music in Germany founded in 1998.
A studio has been attached to her since 2002.
The Conservatory has a total capacity of 350 students. The training in the form of a full-time study is divided into six specialist areas:
- Classical Turkish Music (Instrument)
- Turkish folk music (instrument)
- Singing (classical and folk music)
- Folk dance
- theatre
- Instrument making
In 2007/08 the Conservatory worked together with the ROC on a German-Turkish concert series called KlangKulturen . Before that there had been collaborations with renowned musicians and orchestras in Berlin's cultural scene, including a. the RIAS Chamber Orchestra or the Rundfunkchor Berlin.
Publications
In addition to music CDs and audio books, the Conservatory's recording studio also produced parts of the soundtrack for the Hollywood film Around the World in 80 Days (2004) .
