Convention method

A convention method, or conventional method, is a method that uses a well-defined procedure to achieve comparable results. Such methods are often used in official inspections of food . All parameters of the regulation must be adhered to exactly. In chemistry, the value obtained is in many cases only a (comparable) characteristic for the actual active ingredient content and does not exactly correspond to the actual content.
