Head massage device

A head Krauler , also head massager , or head claw is a massage apparatus for stimulating the nerves of the scalp (see ASMR ). Its use is said to have various therapeutic effects. Proof of the alleged therapeutic effects that meets scientific criteria has not yet been provided.

As a result of an increased release of endorphins , the application of the head crawler should bring about a general sense of well-being, which is noticeable as so-called goose bumps and a slight tingling sensation all over the body. The increased blood flow continues to relax the head and neck muscles.

The device usually consists of a metal handle from which several, usually 12, wires extend in a slightly curved shape. The ends of the wires are covered with hardened plastic drops. It is placed on the scalp and then moved over the head in light circular up and down movements. Alternatively, a simple, slow putting on and taking off on the scalp should also ensure comparable effects. In addition to this typical application, a head massager can also be used to massage other parts of the body.
