Koto (kana)

( koto ) is a Japanese ligature that connects the two katakana characters ( ko ) and ( to ). It is rarely used and is mostly used in vertical notation.

In the JIS X 0213 coding , ヿ has the value 22 38 ( hex ), the Unicode number is U + 30FF (12543). This means that koto occupies the last position in the Katakana Unicode block .
