Krabbenkreek

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Krabbenkreek is a creek between the two peninsulas Tholen and Sint Philipsland in the southwestern Dutch province of Zeeland .

The water used to come from the Eendracht to the east and flow into the Mastgat estuary in the west . In 1972 the inflow from the Eendracht was stopped by the construction of the Krabbenkreekdam and the Scheldt-Rhine Canal . The two villages Sint-Annaland and Sint Philipsland have ports on the Krabbenkreek.
