Krisis is a political magazine and a group critical of capitalism , the main focus of which is a theoretical critique of the “commodity society” ( critique of values ).

The magazine has existed since 1986 (until 1989 under the name “ Marxist Critique”) and has been published by Unrast Verlag since 2004 . The last print edition (No. 33) appeared in 2010. Since 2013, new articles have only been published on the homepage at irregular intervals.

The project of the same name exists parallel to the magazine and aims to create a discussion platform for individuals, groups and initiatives who, according to their own statements, critically deal with the developments in the “alleged lack of alternatives in the world capitalist system”. His goal is the “formation of a new, globally cooperating, non-hierarchical social movement against the prevailing conditions”.

In 1999 the group published the Manifesto Against Labor .

The most prominent author of the magazine and employee of the group until April 2004 was Robert Kurz . Then the EXIT group split up and re-established ! (again including the magazine of the same name), of which Robert Kurz was a member until his death in July 2012.
