Crystallizing dishes of different sizes

Crystallizing dishes are vessels for crystallizing solids from solutions or suspensions by evaporating the solvent. They are similar to beakers , but are much flatter and usually have no scaling. Crystallizing dishes are made of glass , porcelain or PTFE with or without a spout. They are used in the (chemical) laboratory.
