Culture Fund Bavaria

The Bavarian Culture Fund is an institution of the Bavarian State Government , which was created in 1996 from the privatization of the Bavarian Insurance Chamber. The Ministry of Culture takes on the coordination.

Cultural investments and projects by non-governmental organizations from Bavaria are supported from the cultural fund. The projects should be of national importance and have a total budget of 5,000 euros or more. The target area is the rural area , i. H. the metropolitan regions of Munich and Nuremberg are not eligible.
