A state waterway or navigable state waterway is a navigable waterway , the burden of which is borne by the state. The basis is usually the respective state water law . The navigability is usually prescribed by the relevant ministry. Individual evidence can be found in the following lists.

Transport-related importance

The waters play a subordinate role for the commercial transport of goods. Exceptions are port facilities and loading points. On the state waterways, mostly leisure and passenger navigation takes place.
